My desire is to provide tools for individuals to align themselves to their own inner peace and I do this through the unique and powerful style of yoga movements, Manual Lymphatic Drainage massage, Ayurvedic Yoga Massage and Reiki Healing..
I came across Dru Yoga coincidentally (although I do believe that nothing happens by chance) at a time in my life when I was going though family bereavement and career change. It was the most unsettling period in my life.
This consequently led me to embark on the Dru Yoga Teacher Training and undertake the holistic therapies courses. I have found that this journey has not simply been about learning movements and techniques but most importantly has empowered me in every aspect of my life. It has been a transforming experience for me and therefore I would like to commit myself to sharing what I have learnt with everyone who attends my classes, workshops and therapy sessions.
Before practicing yoga and the holistic therapies I worked in social housing development which entailed undertaking immense research to complete bids for revenue and capital funding within tight deadlines. In addition to this I was responsible for preparing the audit files and assist in project managing housing development programmes.
Consequently, I completely understand what it is like for people to have to work in a stressful and demanding environment as well as to juggle their personal responsibilities and commitments.
Dru Yoga has also led me to:
- Dru Meditation Teacher Training
- Kids and Teens Teacher Training
- Dru Dance Teacher Training
- Back Care Programme
- Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage
- Ayurvedic Yoga Massage Level 1-2
- Access Consciousness Bars 1 day Practitioner
- Reiki Healing
The International School of Dru Yoga is registered with the Yoga Alliance and the Independent Yoga Network (UK) (200 hr course).
