Cabinet Set 6 Chinese Antique Blue and White Porcelain Dishes Hand Painted Kangxi Era C-1700

This set of six blue and white Chinese porcelain dishes was hand-painted 300 years ago, circa 1700, during the Kangxi dynasty. The dishes are hand-painted in tones of cobalt blue. Delicate flowering plum trees, beautiful peonies, and lotus flowers are in full bloom. Flowers are everywhere! The effect is gorgeous! According to Sir Harry Garner, author of “Oriental Blue and White,” “The Kangxi blue and white reached a technical excellence that has never been surpassed.” Marks: On the underside, the dishes have the Chinese square “Fret” mark or the artemisia leaf mark inside a double circle in underglaze blue.
