This rare 1939 New York Worlds Fair scarf is a real collector’s item.Vintage Scarf Details1939 World’s Fair scarfDesigned for use as a kerchief covering the head.Orange and brown rayon.Features iconic buildings for the New York City Fair in Corona Park in Queens.Includes the Trylon and Perisphere, other significant fair buildings, and the Manhattan skyline.Design is one-sided.In amazing condition.These scarves were produced in rolls and cut to order at the fair.Another identical scarf is in the Henry Ford Museum.Photo and description in Vintage Hats and Bonnets by Susan Langley, 2009.
