The eleven tone fields of the Sela Unity Tongue Drum 13’ C Major are on the natural C major scale, which has an optimistic and spirited character. As all the notes of the instrument fit together harmoniously, you can play it without getting any ‘wrong’ notes. The centered fundamental note C(3) makes composing on this tongue drum particularly easy and enables intuitive playing. All Sela Unity Tongue Drum models are tuned to the fundamental frequency of 432 Hz (concert pitch A) and therefore do not harmonize with conventionally tuned instruments (440 Hz). However, they are ideal for use as a solo instrument or in combination with other instruments tuned to 432 Hz.
