SW-MOTECH Engine Guard & Bash Plate- Honda CB 500 X & NX 500 (21-Onwards) This bash plate has been specially developed for the Honda CB 500 X & NX 500. Handmade in Germany for superior off road protection of vital engine components. Heavy duty aircraft grade aluminum plate reduces weight & is carefully crafted to follow the lines of the motor, creating a low profile suit of engine armor, without loss of ground clearance. Where the base plates and side plates overlap, it forms a riveted 6.5 mm-thick rail for extra rigidity. Solid frame mounting points lends additional stability and allows for easy installation. Designed to wrap around the engine block to protect exhaust headers, oil sump, lower casing and vital hoses. Benefits of the this engine guard & bash plate: Undercarriage guard of 4 mm and black side walls of 2.5 mm thick aluminum for maximum protection and engine ventilation. This engine guard is designed to attach onto frame load-bearing mounting points, for further peace of mind. Unique press riveted construction as used in Audi TT. Protects exhaust headers, leading edge of transmission, sump, stator case & filters. Recessed hardware. Laser cut side ventilation. Underbody protection from rock chips and collision Recess for the oil drain plug allows easy oil change without removal of the engine guard.
